Looking Ahead to Future Cons and Cosplay

· Cosplay,Cons,Conventions,Comic-con

Thinking lately that it's been 15 months since I last attended a comic-con. There haven't been many opportunities to cosplay since -- and virtually none since the start of the pandemic. But maybe it's the fact that spring is just around the corner or that there's hope for most people to be vaccinated by mid-year ... I'm not sure what's got me so positive, but I'm really optimistic that the worst is behind us, that life will slowly begin to regain some normalcy in the not-too-distant future, and that it won't be all that much longer before there are new opportunities to dress up and attend the next comic-con.

When it happens, things will probably be run a bit differently. Crowds may be a bit smaller. There's no real way of knowing how it'll all go ... but it'll be great to plan a costume, to find a friend or two to go with me, and to finally get back to cosplay among others looking to express themselves and their fandom. In the meantime, here are a few pictures of fun celebrity encounters I've had in cosplay at past cons ...
